First, the preamble
Traditional fan, water pump control flow size is to rely on the control valve to control, in fact, this method is not easy to operate, and can not guarantee a constant water supply pressure. Energy saving effect is poor. Today, most of the factories and enterprises have realized that the application of frequency converter can reduce the energy consumption and save the cost. Especially in the large power fans, water pump on the energy saving effect is more significant. This paper introduces the application of ECF200 series inverter in case of tap water plant of Shenzhen City Shiyan lake.

Three, unit parameters
The project put into use a total of 6 sets of 355KW pump unit. Of which 3 sets of 660V power supply. The other 3 sets for the 10KV high voltage power supply. Wei Gen AC32 inverter applied to two sets of 660V units. The unit is a single-stage double suction centrifugal pump. Model: SC350-440B0 flow: 1800 meters 3/ head 50 meters speed 1480 motor power: 355KW/4 pole.
Four, control mode
DCS distributed system + man-machine interface +ECF200/660V/355P inverter +PID control instrument + pressure sensor.
The operating frequency and the current of the motor, the speed, the voltage, the voltage, the pressure, the running time and the fault alarm can be set by the field and the touch screen and the panel and the touch screen. The signal is transmitted to the PID controller through the pressure transmitter, the PID operation is carried out according to the difference between the set value and the feedback value signal, and a 4 - 20MA signal is sent to the transducer to ensure a constant water pressure output.

1, the use of ECF200/660V series inverter for energy saving transformation of the pump has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient transformation, energy saving effect, short payback period of investment.
2, the use of frequency converter, the pump can be soft stop, reduce the mechanical impact of equipment, extend the service life of equipment, reduce equipment maintenance costs.
3, due to the average speed of the pump down, the average torque in the process of reducing the reason, the blade, impeller wear is also greatly reduced. Maintenance costs, labor, production loss is greatly reduced.
